Summary:

Responsible for ensuring all aspects of leasing and compliance protocols and maintaining renewal and retention logs, applicable applications, addenda, leases, and leasing workflow by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for completion of all applications.*
  • Responsible for verification of all low income housing tax credit file requirements.*
  • Works directly with site coordinator and compliance on file approvals.*
  • Assists in scheduling move-ins with maintenance and site coordinator.*
  • Prepares all lease data accurately.*
  • Files all leases and applications accurately.*
  • Maintains occupancy reports, market surveys, and market conditions.*
  • Assists with advertising and outreach marketing.*
  • Develops and maintains a resident retention program.*
  • Assists with receiving service requests and maintenance concerns.*
  • Conducts follow-ups on all leasing traffic.*
  • Conducts inspections of make ready units.*
  • Conducts inspections of post move out units.*
  • Assists site coordinator with move out procedures and necessary documents.*
  • Assists with rent collections and issuance of relevant notices.*
  • Assists with all community events and initiatives.
  • Assists and/or handles any additional directives from any supervisors.
  • Assists with purchase orders. *
  • Assists with bank deposits.*20. Assists with entering payables.*
  • Conduct site tours with prospects.*
  • Works with all departments and acts as an information hub for the residents and prospects.*
  • Assists with community relations.
  • Assists with pest control.
  • Assists with resident relations with maintenance requests and service issues.
  • Responsible for helping out in all areas.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Yardi, Microsoft PowerPoint, and advertising flyers.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training in customer service; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Valid driver’s license
